Join Mix Taste Eat as we support your homeschooled children to work on our everyday kitchen skills with our 10-Week Cooking Class Series. This hands-on learning approach to cooking is designed to build confidence in the kitchen, teaching your student essential techniques and recipes to impress family and friends.
All lessons are taught in our Sunshine Coast studio by our passionate Nutritionists, supporting our community to increase their education around food, health and nutrition. Classes are designed for recipes to be cooked both individually and as a group, fostering team work and independent living skills.

Weekly Focus:
- Knife Skills & Basics – Chicken & Mango Salads with Lime Dressing, Fresh Rice Paper Rolls
- Sautéing & Stir-Frying – Beef & Ginger Stir-fry, San Choy Bau
- Baking – Fresh Focaccia & Chocolate Marble Cakes
- Stewing – Coq au Vin & Spiced Lentil Stew
- Grilling – Lemon & Herb Chicken Thigh, Seasonal Veg & Romesco Sauce
- Slow Cooking – Chinese Beef Cheeks and Chocolate Pudding
- Pastry Skills – Fruit Tart, Beef Pot Pie
- Stocks & Soups – Chicken Noodle Soup & Roasted Tomato Soup with Fresh Bread Rolls,
- Eggs – French Style Omelet & Poached Eggs with Hollandaise
