Cranberry & Pistachio Bliss Balls

Date

A few months ago I met some lovely ladies who worked for the Sunshine Coast Libraries, and we chatted about me running a few workshops teaching people how to make bliss balls at home. These simple snacks are so easy to throw together and I’m always happy when I get to cook with people, I was excited walking away from that meeting to get involved within the local community.

Then Covid-19 happened.

So many people would have a similar story. Plans, plans, plans, covid-19, no more plans. Nothing stops your plans dead in their tracks more than a worldwide pandemic. But it also paved the way for growth, in different ways.

‘Instead of running in person workshops at the Library, how about we do them online?’ I’m asked.

‘I’m up for that!’ I reply.

So last month, while preparing for school to go back (yay!), I created some delicious bliss ball recipes and shared them with the Sunshine Coast. (If you’d like to see them, they’re still available on their Facebook Page here.)

My favourite out of the three I made are the Pistachio and Cranberry Balls. Not overly sweet, with the tang from the cranberries and the creamy pistachios. Perfect with vanilla and hemp! If you’d like to make them, here’s the recipe for you to save:

Keep an eye out for more collaborations coming up!
