Why buy a Thermomix?

What is important to you when it comes to food? For a lot of people, health is the number one priority. For some others, convenience trumps health, but not by much. Creativeness is one aspect, for me that is very important. Cooking is my Zentime. My ‘me’ time.

Before I even saw a Thermomix I wasn’t interested because I was a little blinded by my love of cooking. I mean, I could happily stand at the stove for 20 minutes stirring lemon curd until it thickens. Then, ironically, use my old food processor to knock a short-crust pastry together. I could take time in the kitchen to make one thing and that would fulfill me. I can spend time shopping….in the food stores. Give me groceries over make up any day….

Then as my story goes I bump into a friend. We stop and chat and I notice, out of the corner of my eye, someone make almond meal with a Thermomix. Out of almonds. In seconds. Seconds!

It wasn’t until that moment that I understood the difference it was going to make in my kitchen, and I knew I needed to have one.

After my wonderful TM31 had arrived there was one evening where I set it up to cook dinner. Chicken Curry with Coconut Rice and Veggies. Think of all the pots and pans and utensils you’d need for that. Nope. Just a Thermomix. It was all set up and cooking away when I took a step back and kinda went, ‘Hmmm. I can sit down with the kids’. So I did. And I wondered, how did I not know about this before. How convenient is this! And, I know exactly what I’m cooking. Nothing came from a packet.

How does everyone not have one of these?!

A Thermomix will be a revolution in your kitchen. Whether you use it to create Masterchef-like dishes or just dinner that didn’t come from a jar. Dessert for the kids that secretly just frozen fruit. Hidden veggies that no amount of sleuthing will find. Or tempered chocolate. Fresh pasta. Lemon curd that stirs itself while I roll out my pastry.

Your Thermomix will not only give you peace of mind knowing that you’re feeding yourself and your family wholesome, nutritious food, but it will do it all while saving you money. Do you know the price difference between homemade curry sauce and the sugar-laiden sauce in a jar? Store bought vanilla yoghurt, and yoghurt you’ve made at home? Fresh almond meal and whole almonds? ($11.60!!)

Invest in your family’s health now, in your spare time now, in saving money every week from your grocery bill, now. And for as little as $20.56 per week, how can you afford not to?
